Four Named to 2025 AVCA All-Region Squad

LEXINGTON, KY – Four North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) volleyball players were tabbed to the 2025 AVCA All-Region Team, released Wednesday, November 19, including Wittenberg sophomores Mary Sulfridge (South Charleston, OH/Southeastern) and Clare O'Malley (Avon, OH/St. Joseph's Academy), DePauw senior Grace Myers (New Palestine, IN/New Palestine), and John Carroll junior Natalie Glowe (Kirtland, OH/Kirtland).
 
Sulfridge headlined the conference's selections as the NCAC's lone First-Team All-Region honoree, while O'Malley, Myers, and Glowe all earned honorable-mention recognition.
 
Sulfridge, the 2025 NCAC Player and Setter of the Year, guided Wittenberg to a perfect 7-0 conference record while leading the league with 10.19 assists per set. She directed an offense that topped the NCAC in hitting percentage (.283), assists per set (12.48), kills per set (14.10), and total points (18.83), and added 0.62 blocks per set and 1.76 digs per set on the defensive end.
 
O'Malley, the 2024 NCAC Newcomer of the Year and a two-time Second-Team All-Conference selection, turned in a strong sophomore campaign, finishing fifth in the league in blocking (1.00/set), ninth in kills (2.52/set), and recording the fourth-best hitting percentage in conference play (.394).
 
Myers collected her third-straight defensive award this season after being named the 2023 NCAC Libero of the Year and earning back-to-back conference Defensive Player of the Year honors. She posted 4.48 digs per set, the second-highest mark in the league, and totaled 112 digs across 25 conference sets. The senior recorded 13 or more digs in every NCAC match and eclipsed the 20-dig mark twice, while adding nine service aces in conference play (0.36/set).
 
Glowe, a First-Team All-NCAC honoree, helped lead the Blue Streaks to a 6-1 conference record and the No. 2 seed in the 2025 NCAC Volleyball Tournament. In league play, the outside hitter finished second in the league in both kills (3.24/set) and points (3.80), and eleventh in digs (2.88/set).
