12 Named IL Preseason All-America Honorable Mention

Twelve North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) men's lacrosse student-athletes were named Preseason All-America Honorable Mentions, announced Wednesday, February 5, by Inside Lacrosse.

The 2025 Nike Lacrosse Preseason All-America list features 186 players across 47 programs. Denison and Kenyon led the NCAC with four selections each, while Ohio Wesleyan followed with three honorees, and Wooster had one. Of the 12 players named, 11 earned All-NCAC honors in 2024, including two special award recipients: Kenyon senior face-off specialist Thomas Nelson (Minneapolis, MN/The Blake School), the 2024 NCAC Specialist of the Year, and
Ohio Wesleyan sophomore attackman Wade Beckstrom (Devon, PA/Conestoga), the 2024 NCAC Newcomer of the Year.

The Preseason All-America teams, curated by Inside Lacrosse’s Dan Kaplan, feature a comprehensive and diverse group of players from a wide range of institutions, reflecting the breadth and competitiveness of men's Division III lacrosse. As the season progresses, the list will be refined for the Midseason and Final versions, with additional standout players likely to emerge.
