Five NCAC Men Swimmers Earn CSC All-America® Honors

AUSTIN, TX – Five North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) men’s swimming and diving student-athletes have been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-America® teams, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Kenyon junior Ethan Manske (Santa Fe, NM/St. Michaels) and Denison senior Gavin Jones (Bellingham, WA/Bellingham), who are two of just six repeat selections across Division III, headline the group.

Manske, a two-time first-team honoree, is joined on the Academic All-America® list by Kenyon junior Kirill Sidorko (Almaty, Kazakhstan/Almaty International), a second-team selection. Jones, named to the third team, is joined by Denison classmates Patrick Daly (New Albany, OH/New Albany) and Christian Narcelles (Springfield, OH/Springfield), who both earned second-team honors.

Manske, a double-major in environmental studies and Japanese with a 3.97 GPA, is three-time NCAA Championship qualifier. At the 2025 national meet, he recorded four top-15 finishes, highlighted by a seventh-place performance in the 400-yard individual medley and a ninth-place result in the 800-yard freestyle relay. His efforts raised his career All-America total to 10. At the 2025 NCAC Championships, Manske earned three All-NCAC honors, including a conference title in the 400 IM.

Sidorko, an economics major with a 3.96 GPA, made an immediate impact in his first season with the Owls. He captured the national title in the 400 IM and finished fourth in the 200 IM, setting a new Kenyon program record in both. Sidorko competed in five events at the NCAA Championships and placed in the top 10 in all of them. He also earned two All-NCAC honors at the 2025 conference meet.
Daly, a finance major with a 3.53 GPA, is an 18-time NCAA All-American and an eight-time NCAC Champion. He swept the 100 and 200 IM titles at the 2025 NCAC Championships, setting new conference records in both events (49.57 and 1:46.58). The senior has twice been named NCAC Swimmer of the Year (2021-22, 2023-24), is a two-time First-Team CSCAA Scholar All-American, and earned a spot on the NCAC Academic Honor Roll last season.

Narcelles, who boasts a 3.98 GPA in biochemistry, made his NCAA Championship debut in 2025, earning All-America honors as a member of the 200 medley relay team. At the NCAC Championships, he helped Denison to titles in both medley relays and finished second in the 100 IM. A two-time NCAC Academic Honor Roll selection, Narcelles was also honored with the Ted Barclay Top Five Award at Denison’s annual Top 50 Athletics Awards Ceremony.

Jones, a double-major in economics and communication with a 3.97 GPA, is a nine-time NCAA All-American and a five-time All-NCAC performer. Most recently, he captured the 800 freestyle relay title at the 2025 NCAC Championships. Jones is a three-time First-Team CSCAA Scholar All-American and a two-time NCAC Academic Honor Roll honoree. This spring, he was awarded Denison’s Ted Barclay Top Five Award and was one of ten students to receive the prestigious President’s Medal.

To qualify for Academic All-America honors, student-athletes must be key contributors who competed in at least five events during the season or placed in the top eight at a conference championship. Candidates must also have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA, have been on their team’s active roster for at least two years, and first be named to the Academic All-District Team.
