Five NCAC Women Swimmers Earn CSC Academic All-America® Honors

AUSTIN, TX – Five North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) women's swimming and diving student-athletes have been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-America® teams, as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Three of the five honorees are repeat selections, headlined by Kenyon senior Molly Haag (Middleton, WI/Middleton) and Denison senior Drue Thielking (Brighton, MI/Brighton), who each climbed to the first team after third-team selections in 2024-25. They are joined by Denison senior Emily Harris (Nashville, TN/Ensworth), a third-team selection after earning second-team recognition a season ago.

Rounding out the NCAC honorees are Kenyon teammates Gwen Eisenbeis (Okemos, MI/Williamston) and Lisa Torrecillas-Jouault (Le Mans, France/CENS), both first-time Academic All-America® honorees on the second team.

Haag closed her Kenyon career with two individual national titles at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championship, winning the 500-yard freestyle in 4:46.81 and the 1,650-yard freestyle in 16:37.04 to record career bests in both events. The mathematics major with a 3.77 GPA added a bronze medal in the 200 freestyle (1:48.94) and contributed to two All-America relays as Kenyon finished third in the team standings, closing out her career as an 18-time NCAA All-American. At the 2026 NCAC Championship, Haag swept the 200- (1:49.68), 500- (4:51.06), and 1,650-yard (16:40.29) freestyle events.

Thielking finished her Denison career with a pair of bronze-medal swims at the 2026 NCAA Championship, placing third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.02) and third in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:12.84) to extend her career All-America total to 11 as the Big Red finished fourth in the team standings. A biology major with a 3.91 GPA and a nine-time All-NCAC honoree, Thielking added runner-up performances in the 200 individual medley (2:04.67) and the 200 breaststroke (2:14.74) at the 2026 NCAC Championship.

Harris closed her collegiate career with two runner-up finishes at the 2026 NCAA Championship. The financial economics major with a 3.81 GPA placed second in both the 400 IM (4:20.62) and the 500 freestyle (4:48.82) and added a fifth-place finish in the 200 butterfly (2:01.43) en route to seven All-America awards on the meet, helping guide Denison to a fourth-place team finish. The 20-time NCAA All-American and 15-time All-NCAC honoree captured 2026 NCAC individual titles in the 400 individual medley (4:22.77) and 200 butterfly (2:01.81).

Eisenbeis put the finishing touches on her Kenyon career as an NCAA national champion, helping the Owls' 400-yard medley relay touch first at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championship in 3:37.94. The 15-time NCAA All-American and mathematics major with a 3.84 GPA collected five additional All-America finishes at this year's meet, including a runner-up effort in the 200 medley relay (1:39.89) and a tie for seventh in the 100-yard backstroke (55.12), as Kenyon placed third in the team standings. At the 2026 NCAC Championship, Eisenbeis swept the 100- (54.36) and 200-yard (1:59.91) backstroke events. Her time in the 100-back reset the NCAC record.
