The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) revealed its All-Region honors on Tuesday, June 17, and 15 NCAC student-athletes across four institutions earned spots on the Region 5 team. Additionally, Ohio Wesleyan was tabbed the IMLCA Region 5 Coaching Staff of the Year.
Ohio Wesleyan and Denison highlighted the NCAC with both programs registering four student-athletes on the first team. Leading the Battling Bishops were sophomore attackman
Henry Ross (Snoqualmie, WA/Mount Si) and senior defenseman
Wes Silver (Newton, MA/Newton North), who were named the 2025 NCAC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively, along with senior midfielder
Joey Wiseman (Powell, OH/Olentangy Liberty) and senior long-stick midfielder
Anthony Fresolone (Marblehead, MA/Kimball Union Academy (NH)). The Big Red were represented on the first team by senior midfielder
Jack Hines (Charlotte, NC/Episcopal), sophomore defenseman
Charlie Haight (Portland, OR/Middlesex) and juniors
Andrew Albert (Weston, CT/The Hill School (PA)) and
AJ Boxler (Westport, MA/Tabor Academy), with Albert starting in goal and Boxler contributing at short-stick defensive midfield.
Denison earned three of the league’s six second-team nods, highlighted by junior faceoff specialist
Grant Larson (Charlotte, NC/Charlotte County Day School), the 2025 NCAC Specialist of the Year. Larson was joined on the second team by senior attackman
Tommy Quinson (Rye Brook, NY/Brunswick School) and senior midfielder
Collin Murphy (Sudbury, MA/Lincoln-Sudbury Regional). Additionally, Ohio Wesleyan sophomore attackman
Wade Beckstrom (Devon, PA/Conestoga), Oberlin sophomore defenseman
Colin Taylor (Baltimore, MD/Friends School of Baltimore), and Kenyon junior goalkeeper
Adam Hall (Grand Rapids, MI/East Grand Rapids) also received IMLCA Second-Team All-Region certificates. Kenyon senior
Thomas Nelson (Minneapolis, MN/The Blake School) garnered an honorable mention nod as a faceoff specialist.

Matt Rice, guided the team to a 15-4 overall record, with three of their losses coming against NCAA tournament teams, and a perfect 8-0 run in NCAC play. The Battling Bishops claimed both the NCAC title and their first NCAC Tournament crown since 2015, marking their third in program history to secure an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Tournament.
