Denison’s Deegan Repeats as Region VII ABCA/ATEC Coach of the Year 7/7/2025 12:00:00 PM | By: Haiden Diemer-McKinney, Wabash '26 Share: Denison head baseball coach Mike Deegan has been named the 2025 ABCA/ATEC NCAA Division III Region VII Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season. A four-time NCAC Coach of the Year, Deegan guided the Big Red with a 41-7 campaign in 2025 that included both the NCAC championship and tournament titles, the program’s second NCAA regional championship, its first super regional crown, and a debut appearance in the NCAA Division III World Series. Across 13 seasons at the helm, Deegan has led Denison to five NCAC regular-season titles, six NCAC Tournament championships, and seven NCAA Regional appearances, while compiling a dominant .709 career winning percentage (378–155).
