Three Teams, 69 Softball Student-Athletes Receive NFCA Awards

LOUISVILLE, KY - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) named 69 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) softball student-athletes as All-America Scholar-Athletes for the 2024-25 season, while Kenyon, Wittenberg, and Wooster were honored for their academic success in the classroom.
 
Wittenberg led the conference with 15 individual honorees and the highest team GPA of 3.670, followed by Kenyon (3.500) and Wooster (3.490). All three programs were recognized for maintaining GPAs above 3.0.
 
To qualify for the honor individually, student-athletes must achieve a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for the academic year. NCAA Division III led the way nationally with 2,565 honorees, contributing to the 9,199 collegiate student-athletes who earned the award across all divisions.
