Five North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) men's lacrosse student-athletes collected USA Lacrosse Division III Men’s Preseason accolades. Ohio Wesleyan junior midfiedler Henry Ross (Snoqualmie, WA/Mount Si) led the way for the NCAC with a nod to the third team, while a quartet of Denison student-athletes were honorable mention selections: senior goalkeeper Andrew Albert (Weston, CT/The Hill School (PA)), junior defender Charlie Haight (Portland, OR/Middlesex), senior faceoff specialist Grant Larson (Charlotte, NC/Charlotte County Day School) and junior long-stick midfielder Augie Oberting (Hanover, NH/Proctor Academy (NH)).
Ross was named the 2025 NCAC Offensive Player of the Year and earned his second-consecutive All-NCAC first-team certificate last season. Across 18 games, he led the NCAC with 80 points and 51 goals to go along with 29 assists, 30 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers.
Albert was selected to the All-NCAC first-team last season, posting a 13-7 overall record. He accumulated a 9.35 goals against average across 20 games, allowing 160 goals in 1078:36 minutes of work and recording a .538 save percentage by making 196 stops.
Haight collected his first all-conference certificate last season behind strong play on the defensive end. He recorded 16 caused turnovers for the Big Red, while scooping up 32 ground balls last season.
Larson was tabbed the 2025 NCAC Specialist of the Year after dominating his opponents at the faceoff x last season. In 20 games, he posted 162 faceoff victories in 281 attempts for a .577 average, while scooping up 106 ground balls.
Oberting caused a team-high 17 turnovers for the Big Red last season, while adding 43 ground balls. He also contributed to the offense with an assist and took two shots.
Overall, 99 players were honored with All-America recognition. Preseason All-Americans are compiled by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors with consultation from college coaches.
