Baseball Pitcher - Gage Miller, Wittenberg
Wittenberg junior right-hander Gage Miller (Dayton, OH/Twin Valley South) delivered a standout relief performance to earn the win in the Tigers’ 16-8 victory over Carroll (WI). Entering with Wittenberg trailing, Miller tossed 6.2 innings of one-hit ball, allowing just one earned run, while striking out three. He faced 21 batters, slammed the door in a bases-loaded jam, and helped turn a key double play to halt the Pioneers momentum, stabilizing the game and guiding the Tigers to the comeback win.
Baseball Player - Ryan Kramer, Wooster
Wooster senior first baseman Ryan Kramer (Chicago, IL/Latin School of Chicago) turned in a dominant weekend at Oglethorpe, helping the Fighting Scots to a 2-1 series record. Kramer slashed .700/.800/1.700 over three games, finishing 7-for-10 with three home runs, 11 RBI, eight runs scored, and four walks. He opened the weekend with a 2-for-4 performance with two runs and a double in a tough 11-7 loss before hitting 3-for-4 with seven RBI, which was one RBI shy of the program’s first eight-RBI game since 2010 in a 14-1 night-cap win. Kramer capped the series by reaching base safely in all five plate appearances, going 2-for-2 while hitting one home run, drawing three walks and driving in four runs in a 9-7 victory.
Men's Basketball - Owen Giannoulias, Denison
Denison sophomore guard Owen Giannoulias (Northbrook, IL/Glenbrook North) played a key role in helping the Big Red clinch the NCAC title during a perfect 2-0 conference week. Giannoulias scored nine points in a 72-67 road win at Wooster before following with 11 points in a 71-70 victory over Ohio Wesleyan. He sealed the title by knocking down the game-winning free throw with 0.6 seconds remaining against the Battling Bishops. For the week, Giannoulias averaged 10.0 points, 5.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game to help Denison secure back-to-back NCAC championships.
Women's Basketball - Anelly Mad-toingué, Denison
Denison sophomore post Anelly Mad-toingué (Wellesley, MA/Dana Hall) was instrumental in helping the Big Red secure the NCAC title during a 2-0 conference week. Mad-toingué averaged 9.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 64 percent from the field (9-for-14) in wins over Wittenberg (74-57) and Ohio Wesleyan (72-70). She opened the week with 15 points, eight rebounds, four steals, two blocks and two assists against the Tigers before posting four points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and two assists in the two-point win over the Battling Bishop. Mad-toingué delivered the game-winning assist in the final seconds against OWU, marking Denison’s first win over Ohio Wesleyan since the 2019-20 season and securing the program’s first conference championship since 2015-16.
Men's Lacrosse - Lane Kellogg, Wooster
Wooster senior attackman Lane Kellogg (Arvada, CO/Ralston Valley) powered the Fighting Scots to a 2-0 opening week with a record-setting offensive performance. Kellogg averaged 8.0 assists, 3.0 goals and 2.5 ground balls per game in wins over Hiram (25-3) and Adrian (23-8). He opened the season by breaking Wooster single-game program records with 10 assists and 13 points in the win over the Terriers. He then followed with six assists and three goals in the victory over the Bulldogs. Kellogg also reached the 125-goal milestone for his career, becoming the fourth player in program history to do so and the first since the mid-1990s, and now ranks fourth all-time at Wooster with 225 career points.
Women's Lacrosse - Finlay Harmon, Denison
Denison first-year midfielder/attack Finlay Harmon (Towson, MD/Towson) delivered a breakout performance during a 2-0 week for the Big Red, highlighted by a historic victory over a nationally ranked opponent. Harmon scored three goals, including the game-winner, in Denison’s 11-10 win at No. 4 Gettysburg, marking the program’s first-ever victory over the Bullets and the first collegiate goals of her career. She added five draw controls, two ground balls, and a caused turnover in the landmark win. Harmon followed with three more goals in a 9-4 victory at Dickinson.
Men's Tennis – Alejandro Gonzalez, Kenyon
Kenyon junior Alejandro Gonzalez (Monterrey, Mexico/Citizens) went 3-0 on the weekend, picking up a pair of doubles wins with senior Paulo Pocasangre Kreling (Guacimo, Coasta Rica/Interamerican High School CATI) and a No. 1 singles victory. In the No. 1 flight, Gonzalez and Pocasangre Kreling edged Centre, 7-6, then topped No. 33 Washington and Lee, 7-5, while Gonzalez added a 6-0, 6-3 win at the top singles spot against the Generals. With the results, Gonzalez improved to 8-1 overall and extended his winning streak to three matches as Kenyon defeated Centre, 6-1, and No. 33 Washington and Lee, 5-2.
Women's Tennis – Rafaella Ramos, Denison
Denison first-year Rafaella Ramos (Lima, Peru/Villa Maria La Planicie) put together a perfect 5-0 weekend in NCAC action, surrendering just two total points while posting two singles wins and three doubles victories as the Big Red swept Wooster (7-0), Ohio Wesleyan (7-0), and DePauw (6-1). Competing at No. 2 singles, the rookie delivered 6-0, 6-0 wins against both the Battling Bishops and the Tigers. She was equally impressive in doubles action going 3-0 overall, teaming with junior Ariana Rodriguez (Lima, Peru/Colegio Salcantay) for a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles versus the Fighting Scots, then partnering with senior Peyton Oda (Elk Grove Village, IL/Elk Grove) for 6-1 wins at No. 1 doubles against OWU and DePauw.
Men's Sprints/Hurdles – Nate Snead, Ohio Wesleyan
Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Nate Snead (Sunbury, OH/Big Walnut) secured two wins at the OWU Tune-Up on Friday. Snead set a new program record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.88, then claimed the top spot in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.24 to rank first and second in the league, respectively.
Men's Mid/Distance – Oliver DiCerbo, Denison
Denison senior Oliver DiCerbo (Lexington, MA/Lexington) placed second in the mile at the Wittenberg Invite, finishing in 4:18.32 in a field of 52 runners. DiCerbo’s time ranks sixth in the NCAC this season and is tied for sixth in program history.
Men's Field – Nick Farfoglia, Wittenberg
Wittenberg junior Nick Farfoglia (Manchester, MD/Manchester Valley) won the heptathlon at the 2026 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Combined Events Championships with a total of 4,742 points, setting a program record. Farfoglia claimed the title after he finished first in the long jump (6.41m) and 60-meter hurdles (8.81), placed second in both the pole vault (4.25m) and 60-meter dash (7.19), tied for second in the high jump (1.80m), and added an eighth-place finish in the 1,000-meter run (3:01.01) and a ninth-place finish in the shot put (10.11m). Farfoglia also recorded personal bests in the 60-meter hurdles, pole vault, and 60-meter run.
Women's Sprints/Hurdles – Liberty Scott, DePauw
DePauw junior Liberty Scott (Galveston, IN/Lewis Cass) set a new school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.65 at the Wittenberg Invite. Scott’s mark ranks first in the NCAC and sixth in Division III this season. She also placed sixth in the 200 meters with a time of 25.43.
Women's Field – Bethany Allen, Wittenberg
Wittenberg first-year Bethany Allen (Greenup, KY/Russell) won the pentathlon at the 2026 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Combined Events Championships with a total of 2,881 points. Allen claimed the overall victory by placing first in both the long jump (4.99m) and the 800-meter run (2:37.18), while also tying for second in the high jump (1.50m), finishing third in the shot put (8.80m), and placing sixth in the 60-meter hurdles (10.36). In the victory, Allen added personal bests in the long jump and 800-meter run.
Milestones & Records (Feb. 16-22)
DePauw, Men’s Basketball – Junior post Reph Stevenson (Fishers, IN/Hamilton Southeastern) became the 31st player in program history to reach 1,000 career points after scoring early in the February 18th win over Ohio Wesleyan. Stevenson is also just the seventh player in DePauw men’s basketball history to record at least 1,000 points and 600 rebounds.
DePauw, Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Senior Lucy Stokes (St. Louis, MO/Whitfield School) set a new school record in the weight throw at the Wittenberg Invite with a mark of 14.30 meters to place sixth in the field. Stokes broke her own program record, which she set earlier this season at the Keck DIII Select, and her new mark ranks second in the NCAC.
John Carroll, Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Sophomore Tony Tirado (Chicago, IL/St. Ignatius College Prep) clocked a new indoor personal-best of 50.27 in the 400-meter dash at the Silverston Invitational, placing 14th out of 21 competitors against a field made up largely of Division I runners. With the mark, Tirado now ranks 11th in the NCAC this season … First-year Justin Krile (Sugar Grove, OH/Berne Union) cleared a personal-best 4.26 meters in the pole vault at the fourth annual Ed Finnigan Greater Cleveland Meet, placing third out of 11 competitors. With the mark, Krile is now tied for fourth in the NCAC this season.
Kenyon, Men’s Lacrosse – Senior attacker David Chintala (New Albany, OH/Saint Francis De Sales) totaled eight points on the week to move to within one point of second place on the program’s all-time points list. Chintala netted four goals and dished four assists across two matches, as the Owls went 1-1 with an 11-10 loss at Baldwin Wallace and an 18-2 win against Capital.
Oberlin, Men’s Basketball – The Yeomen clinched a spot in the NCAC Tournament as the sixth-seed with a 65-60 home win over Wabash, marking the program’s first home victory over the Little Giants since 2015.
Oberlin, Men’s Lacrosse – The Yeomen opened the 2026 season with a 9-7 win over Ursinus to secure its ninth-straight season-opening victory.
Oberlin, Women’s Lacrosse – Senior attacker Megan Hiller (Stevensville, MD/Severn School) led the Crimson and Gold to an 11-3 season-opening road win at Centre with a game-high six points on two goals and four assists. Hiller’s performance marked the ninth time in her career that she has recorded at least five points in a single game.
Oberlin, Men’s Tennis – Senior Shawn Lisann (Vienna, VA/Oakton) reached 75 career wins across singles and doubles while going 2-0 in the Yeomen’s 5-2 road victory over Ohio Northern. Lisann and classmate Sebastien Naginski (Watertown, MA/International School of Boston) picked up a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles, and Lisann followed with a 6-4, 4-6, 10-7 win at No. 1 singles.
Ohio Wesleyan, Women’s Lacrosse – Junior attacker Brie Colangelo (Providence, RI/Moses Brown School) tied her career high with five goals in the Battling Bishops’ 12-7 season-opening win at Otterbein. Colangelo added two assists, two ground balls, and one draw control in the victory.
Ohio Wesleyan, Men’s Swimming & Diving – The 200-yard medley relay team of sophomore John Wion (Sunbury, OH/Big Walnut), first-year Ian Sander (Pemberville, OH/Eastwood), senior Evan Lucas (Cincinnati, OH/Loveland), and sophomore Henry Gaudet (Littleton, CO/Heritage) set a new program record with a time of 1:33.46 at the Kenyon Fast Chance Invitational, breaking the previous mark by 0.31 seconds. Wion also set a new school record in the 50-yard freestyle twice, first swimming a 21.05 leadoff split on the 200 free relay before lowering the record again with a 21.04 in the meet’s time trials.
Ohio Wesleyan, Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Ohio Wesleyan first-year Stephanie Novak (Wadsworth, OH/Wadsworth) moved up to third on the program’s all-time top-10 list in the pole vault after clearing 3.55 meters at the OWU Tune-Up.
Wittenberg, Baseball – Senior infielder Alex Nemunaitis (Perrysburg, OH/Ottawa Hills) hit for the cycle in the Tigers’ 16-8 season-opening win over Carroll (WI), helping Wittenberg open the weekend with a victory. Nemunaitis finished the three-game set batting 9-for-13 with two home runs, five extra-base hits, seven RBI, five runs scored, three walks, and two stolen bases.
Wooster, Men’s Swimming & Diving – Wooster first-year Hayden Price (Canfield, OH/Canfield) lowered his school record in the 100 backstroke to 49.76 at the Kenyon Fast Chance Invitational on Saturday.
