Wooster sophomore defender Domenic Cuda (Latrobe, PA/The Kiski School) was named to the USILA Men's Lacrosse Team of the Week for the second time this season, announced Tuesday, March 10.
Cuda totaled 15 groundballs, 14 caused turnovers, and two assists during a 2-0 week, causing seven turnovers in each contest against Calvin and Hope. Through six games, he leads Division III with 6.33 caused turnovers per game and is one of just 18 players nationally averaging double digits in groundballs. His 39 caused turnovers are already within three of his entire first-year total of 42 across 14 games.
The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) recognizes top performers from across the country each week, highlighting student-athletes who deliver exceptional efforts on the field. This marks the second time this season that student-athletes from the NCAC have earned national recognition.
