Wooster senior infielder
Ryan Kramer (Chicago, IL/Latin School of Chicago) has been tabbed as the Division III Hitter of the Month for February, as announced by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) on Wednesday, March 4.
Kramer opened his senior season in strong form, batting .636/.765/1.545 over four games in February. The first baseman powered the offense in the season-opening three-game series against Oglethorpe, totaling three home runs and 11 RBI. He went 7-for-11 on the month with eight runs scored and five walks.
Kramer produced his biggest game in the second contest of the series, going 3-for-4 with seven RBI, three runs scored, and two homers. In the series finale, he reached base safely in all five plate appearances with two hits and three walks, and despite being pitched around, still finished with four RBI and his third home run of the season.
