ATLANTA, GA – Wittenberg women's basketball student assistant coach
Olivia Campbell (Vanceburg, KY/Lewis County) has been named a graduate of the 2026 Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) "So You Want To Be A Coach" program, announced by the organization on Monday, April 6.
Campbell, who was one of 64 graduates in the program’s 23rd class, attended the two-day workshop on April 3-4 during the WBCA Convention in Phoenix.
The "So" program is designed to increase understanding and application of skills necessary to secure coaching positions in women's basketball, raise awareness of competencies needed for success in coaching, and introduce female basketball players to coaches and administrators across the sport.
"The WBCA community of coaches each year invests in young, aspiring coaches through the 'So You Want To Be A Coach' program," said WBCA Executive Director
Danielle Donehew. "We have high expectations for these graduating students and the future contributions they will make to the game of women's basketball."
