Denison, DePauw & Wittenberg Earn NCAA Baseball Tournament Bids 5/11/2026 12:40:48 PM Share: INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- After capturing both the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) title and winning the 2026 NCAC tournament title, Denison (40-1) has earned the league’s automatic bid into the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship and will serve as a regional host. Denison will be joined on the national stage by DePauw (28-13) and Wittenberg (31-11) after both teams received at-large bids. This marks the 24th time that the North Coast has been represented in the field by more than one team. It is also the fifth time that the NCAC has sent three teams to the NCAA baseball postseason. This marks Denison’s eighth NCAA tournament appearance, as the Big Red hold a 17-14 all-time record (.548) in national postseason play. DePauw will make its eighth NCAA appearance and holds a 6-14 mark (.300), while Wittenberg will play in its 33rd national tournament and owns a 75-70 record (.517). The four-team, double-elimination regionals will be held May 15-17, as Denison hosts in Granville, Ohio and DePauw and Wittenberg travel to Adrian, Michigan. Joining the Big Red in Granville will be Cortland (29-10-1), Grinnell (25-16) and Kalamazoo (31-11). Action gets underway Friday with Denison taking on Grinnell at 11:00 a.m. and Cortland facing Kalamazoo at 2:30 p.m. The tournament will continue Saturday with Games 3-5. Sunday’s action will feature Game 6 with Game 7 to follow if necessary. DePauw and Wittenberg will travel to Michigan with Adrian (31-10) serving as the host, while Webster (30-14) completes the four-team field. Action gets underway Friday with Wittenberg taking on Webster and DePauw facing Adrian. The tournament will continue Saturday with Games 3-5. Sunday’s action will feature Game 6 with Game 7 to follow if necessary. All game times are to be determined. The winner of the Granville and Adrian Regionals will move on to the Super Regional round, scheduled for May 21-24. Eight teams will emerge from the Super Regional round to line up at Classic Auto Group Park for the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship, May 29 - June 4. For more information visit HERE.
