Denison, DePauw's Williams Set for NCAA Championships 5/12/2026 11:00:00 AM Share: INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The NCAA Division III women's golf committee announced the 34 teams and six individuals that will participate in the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Denison, seeded 15th, and DePauw senior Becky Williams (Zionsville, IN/University High School of Indiana), ranked third nationally, will represent the North Coast Athletic Conference on the national stage. Denison captured its sixth-consecutive NCAC Championship to earn the conference's automatic bid into the 2026 NCAA Championship. After opening with a 316 at the par-72, 5,644-yard Squaw Creek Course in Vienna, Ohio, the Big Red followed with a 308 on Saturday and closed with a 318 on Sunday to finish with a 54-hole total of 942. sophomore Siena Maschke (Cleveland, OH/Laurel School) led the way for the Big Red, finishing in a tie for third with a 232 (77-74-81). Junior Natalia Fanucchi (Carlsbad, CA/Sage Creek) took fifth with a 233 (78-75-80), while senior Isabella Dolan (St. Petersburg, FL/Shorecrest Preparatory School) placed eighth with a 238 (81-78-79), junior Lizzy Grant (Hudson, OH/Hudson) tied for 10th with a 243 (84-81-78) and first-year Anais Oge (St. Louis, MO/Clayton) tied for 12th with a 244 (80-82-82). This marks the Big Red’s 15th NCAA appearance and the sixth under head coach Lauren Grogan. Williams is one of six individuals that received an invitation to the tournament. At the 2026 NCAC Women's Golf Championships, the senior tied with Maschke for third after shooting a 232 (82-75-75). Overall this year, Williams earned medalist or a share of honors medalist in five of her nine tournament outings. The 2026 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships will be held Tuesday-Friday, May 19-22 at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California. The team and individual champions will be determined after 72 holes of play. After 36 holes of competition, the field will be cut to the top 15 teams and the top six individuals not on one of those teams. In the team competition, the low four scores from each team for each day will count toward the team’s total score.
