CLEVELAND, OH – The North Coast Athletic Conference is celebrating its 40th playing season by selecting All-Decade teams in all 23 championship sports. Student-athletes that competed in the NCAC between the 2013-14 and the 2022-23 seasons who earned Player of the Year honors, or who earned a minimum of three all-NCAC first-team nods during this time were named to the team.
In men’s golf, 16 student-athletes have been recognized for their outstanding accomplishments on the course.
Over the last 10 years, three different NCAC teams earned a conference title in men’s golf. Wittenberg dominated the decade by winning seven of nine league crowns. From 2014 to 2019, the Tigers added six conference trophies to their resume, extending the team’s streak to 10. No champions were crowned in 2020 due to COVID-19. During the last decade, Denison (2021) and Kenyon (2022) both won their program’s first championship titles. Most recently, Wittenberg found itself back on top after winning the 2023 conference championship title.
Founded in 1983, the North Coast Athletic Conference currently consists of nine academically selective NCAA Division III colleges and universities - Denison University, DePauw University, Hiram College, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Wabash College, Wittenberg University, and the College of Wooster along with affiliate members Allegheny College, Earlham College, Transylvania University and Washington & Jefferson College (field hockey). The NCAC sponsors 23 championship sports, 11 for men and 12 for women.
