DePauw's Williams Named to CSC Academic All-America Third Team

Becky Williams (Zionsville, IN/University High School of Indiana), a recent graduate of DePauw University, has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® At-Large Team, announced on Tuesday, July 7. Competing in women’s golf, Williams received a nod to the third team, one of 46 total female athletes selected to the Division III At-Large squad.

Williams, a kinesiology major with a 3.94 GPA, earned the recognition for the second consecutive season, following a third-team selection a year ago. She also earned NCAC Player of the Year for the third consecutive season. Williams closed out her senior campaign with her program record 14 career tournament titles.

To be eligible for Academic All-America® consideration, student-athletes must carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or key reserve. The teams are selected by College Sports Communicators.
