GREENCASTLE, IN – Top-seeded DePauw Tigers claimed their second consecutive and fourth overall North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Men's Soccer Tournament title with a 3-1 win over second-seeded Denison in the tournament finale on Saturday, November 8, in Greencastle, Indiana.
As tournament champions, the Tigers earned the NCAC's automatic bid into the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer tournament. DePauw will be making its second consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament and 14th overall on the national stage. The entire 64-team field will be revealed on Monday, Nov. 10, at 11:30 a.m. on NCAA.com via the selection show.

- DePauw opened the scoring in the 23rd minute after senior Sebastian Leon (Evanston, IL/Evanston Township) tucked a shot into the lower-left corner off a pass from senior Tye Williams (Scarborough, Ontario, Canada/Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate Institute), giving the Tigers a 1-0 lead.
- Denison generated several chances in the first half and came out of the break with renewed energy. Less than five minutes into the second period, junior Jack Rice (Lake Bluff, IL/Lake Forest) tied the match at 1-1, finishing a ball played through by senior Phil Koutsaftis (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck).
- Momentum swung again in the 69th minute as DePauw regained the lead on Leon's second goal of the match. The Tigers later added an insurance goal in the 81st minute, thanks to sophomore Julian Bell (Carmel, IN/Brebeuf Jesuit), who scored to make it 3-1.
- Denison pushed late and earned three corners in the final 10 minutes, forcing DePauw junior goalkeeper Sam Ortner (Wauwatosa, WI/Wauwatosa East) and the Tigers' backline to block a shot and make a save, preserving the lead and securing the win.
- Seniors Zarius Eusebe (Wilton, CT/Wilton) and Kameron Kist (New Albany, OH/New Albany) led Denison with three shots each, while Leon paced the Tigers with three of his own.
- Denison's first-year Alex Provost (Glen Ridge, NJ/Montclair Kimberley Academy) recorded five saves in 90 minutes, while Ortner made three stops to back the Tigers defensively.
- Denison and DePauw finished even in total shots at 11 apiece, with the Big Red earning a 7-5 advantage in corner kicks, while the Tigers placed eight shots on goal to Denison's four.
The NCAC All-Tournament team was also revealed at the conclusion of the tournament. Twelve members from Denison, DePauw, Kenyon, and Wooster made up the squad. DePauw's Leon was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
