Five men’s lacrosse student-athletes from three North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) institutions were named United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-Americans, while three conference programs repeated as recipients of the Academic Team Award.
Kenyon led the way with three honorees, as
David Chintala (New Albany, OH/Saint Francis De Sales),
Adam Hall (Grand Rapids, MI/East Grand Rapids), and
Will Jordan (Blacklick, OH/Saint Francis De Sales) all earned the recognition. Denison’s
Charlie Pellegrino (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) and Wooster’s
Lane Kellogg (Arvada, CO/Ralston Valley) rounded out the conference’s Scholar All-American recognition.
The Scholar All-America team is made up of seniors who carry a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and they must also be an All-American, a member of the USILA North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player.
Denison, Kenyon, and Wooster were among 72 NCAA Division III men’s lacrosse programs recognized with the USILA Academic Team Award.
