Maschke Moves On; Denison, Williams Just Miss Cut

WILLIAMSBURG, VA – After a weather delay pushed the conclusion of round two into Thursday morning, Denison first-year Siena Maschke (Cleveland, OH/Laurel School) officially advanced to the final round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championship.

Maschke posted a two-day total of 149 (+5) to survive the cut, which narrowed the field to the top 15 teams and top six individuals not on those advancing teams. Competing as an individual in Thursday’s third round at the Kingsmill Resort’s par-72, 5,855-yard River Course, the rookie carded an 81 (+9), bringing her three-round total to 230 (+14).

Maschke is set to tee off at 11:00 a.m. Friday for the final round of the NCAA DIII Women’s Golf Championship.

Denison wrapped up its team performance at the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championship with a two-day total of 704 (+64), placing 16th to sit just outside the top-15 cutoff needed to advance to the final round. DePauw senior Becky Williams (Zionsville, IN/University High School of Indiana) also narrowly missed advancing as an individual, finishing just one stroke shy of the cut with a two-round total of 150 (+6), highlighted by a second-round 73 (+1) that included four birdies.
