Four NCAC Men's Golfers Earn GCAA All-Region Accolades 5/19/2025 11:00:00 AM | By: Portions Courtesy of: DePauw, Kenyon & Wittenberg Athletic Communications Share: PENFIELD, NY – The 2025 NCAA Division III PING All-Region honorees have been announced by the NCAA in coordination with the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The North Coast Athletic Conference was represented by DePauw senior Manuel Loring (Madrid, Spain/San Patricio, El Soto), Kenyon sophomore Jonathan Oakes (Dobbs Ferry, NY/US Performance Academy) and junior Will Hulsey (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield) and Wittenberg first-year Mitch Bolte (Newark, OH/Newark), who are among just 15 golfers selected in Region V. Loring earned All-NCAC first-team honors earlier this month after leading DePauw with a 72.41 stroke average over 17 rounds including a low round of 68 at the NCAC Championships. An NCAC All-Tournament team honoree, Loring had three top 10 finishes including a win at the Win Palmer Cup in mid-April. Oakes made his swings in 10 events and penciled in a team best 72.15 scoring average. He fired a low round of 65 and he recorded three top-10 individual finishes. He was named the 2025 NCAC Player of the Year and he will lead the Owls into the upcoming NCAA Division III Championship. Hulsey did not quite play the entire 2024-25 season, but he was able to participate in eight events, including 21 rounds. He fired a low round of 68 and posted an overall scoring average of 73.00, which was the second-best mark on the team. Bolte, after recording three top-10 finishes during the 2024-25 season, capped his regular season with a fifth-place finish in the NCAC Championships. Following the championships, Bolte was selected the NCAC Newcomer of the Year. He heads into the NCAA Division III Championships ranked fourth in the NCAC and owns a 73.95 scoring average.
