Kenyon & Wittenberg Wrap Up Final Round at NCAA Men’s Golf Championships

PENFIELD, NY -- Kenyon recorded a 300 (+12) and Wittenberg carded a 305 (+17) during the final round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship at Midvale Country Club in Penfield, New York. The Owls finished in a tie for 13th overall with a four-day score of 1,202 (297-300-305-300), while the Tigers placed 16th with 1,209 strokes (305-302-297-305).
 
Methodist collected the national championship title for the second-consecutive season with a score of 1,175 (303-298-292-282), while Illinois Wesleyan finished five strokes back in second with an 1,180 (290-305-290-295), Emory placed third with an 1,182 (300-305-285-292), Washington and Lee finished fourth with an 1,183 (298-309-289-287) and Carnegie Mellon rounded out the top five with an 1,185 (298-300-296-291).
 
The national championship was held on two courses, the par-72 6,558-yard course at the Midvale Country Club and the par-72 6,770-yard course at the Cobblestone Creek Country Club. Both NCAC teams opened play at the Midvale Country Club and then traversed the Cobblestone Creek Country Club on day two, followed by completing both round three and four on the Midvale course.
 
Kenyon’s Jonathan Oakes (Dobbs Ferry, NY/US Performance Academy) finished as the top NCAC scorer on the leaderboard after shooting a 72-hole score of 294 (72-74-79-69). Wittenberg Mitch Bolte (Newark, OH/Newark) (76-73-75-73) and Jacob Yarbrough (Dublin, OH/Jerome) (73-74-74-76) tallied a 297, while Kenyon Oliver McGovern (Greenwich, CT/Fordham Prep) carded a 299 (74-76-75-74), Owl teammate Jaiden Koonar (Alberta, Canada/Webber Academy) recorded a 304 (75-74-76-79) and Wittenberg Mikey Schutte (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) shot a 306 (76-77-75-78). Kenyon Adrian Jordan (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrenceville School) posted a 311 (76-80-75-80), Owl teammate Armand Ouellette (Saco, ME/Thornton Academy) totaled a 313 (80-76-79-78), Wittenberg Mark Sulek (Delaware, OH/Hayes) carded a 321 (80-82-81-78) and Tiger teammate Josh Wright (Wadsworth, OH/Akron Hoban) shot a 322 (91-78-73-80).
