DePauw Women Win First NCAC Outdoor Championship

GREENCASTLE, IN - The DePauw women claimed their first conference title in program history at the 2025 NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
 
DePauw accumulated 235 points across the two-day meet, while Wittenberg earned second place with 171 points. Ohio Wesleyan placed third (125), followed by Denison (77.5), Kenyon (72), Wooster (69), Hiram (39) and Oberlin (28.5).
 
2025 NCAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year Award Winners:
 
Women's Field: Paula Soric, Kenyon
Kenyon senior Paula Soric (Zadar, Croatia/Gimnazija Franje Petrica Zadar) earned the 2025 NCAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Year after claiming the women’s triple jump title and placing second in the long jump. Soric leaped 11.96 meters in the triple jump and 5.53 meters in the long jump.

Women's Sprint/Hurdles: Meghan Frazier, Wittenberg
Wittenberg senior Meghan Frazier (Alliance, OH/Alliance) finished the 2025 Championships earning four All-NCAC honors, including three first-place and one second-place finishes, earning her this year’s Women’s Sprint/Hurdles Athlete of the Year honors. Frazier won the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.02 seconds and was runner up in the 200-meter dash after finishing in 24.72 seconds. She was also the anchor on the victorious 4x400 meter relay squad (3:58.28) and was the third leg of the Tiger’s winning 4x100 meter relay that finished in 47.19 seconds to set a new NCAC and facility record.
 
Women's Distance/Middle Distance: Sophie Porter, DePauw
DePauw senior Sophie Porter (Westfield, IN/Westfield) earned the Women’s Distance/Mid-Distance Athlete of the Year honors for the second-consecutive season after earning victories in the 1,500-meter and 10,000-meter runs. Porter finished with times of 4:37.60 and 37:28.37, respectively. The senior also placed second in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 18:05.17.
 
Newcomer of the Year: Izzy Henderson, Wittenberg
Wittenberg first-year Izzy Henderson (East Liberty, OH/Benjamin Logan) earned the 2025 Newcomer of the Year award. Henderson placed first in the long jump (5.66 meters) and was a member of the winning 4x100 meter relay that set a new NCAC and facility record (47.19). She also placed fifth in both the 100-meter hurdles (14.97) and the 200-meter dash (25.37), as well as finished sixth in the high jump (1.48).

Coaching Staff of the Year: DePauw
DePauw’s coaching staff, led by head coach Kori Stoffregen, earned the 2025 Coaching Staff of the Year award after leading the Tigers to their first NCAC Outdoor Track and Field Title. The staff, which includes assistant coaches Colt Slack, Peter Crary, and Jada Amis, helped push DePauw to five first-place finishes and 11 all-conference finishes throughout the weekend. The honor is the first for a DePauw coach in program history.
