LA CROSSE, WI - Nineteen North Coast Athletic Conference student-athletes competed on Friday, May 22, at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.
Earning a spot in the women’s 100-meter hurdles were Ohio Wesleyan sophomore
Katherine Dortmund (Westerville, OH/Columbus St. Francis DeSales) and DePauw junior
Liberty Scott (Galveston, IN/Lewis Cass). Dortmund recorded the sixth-fastest time (14.06) and Scott finished eighth (14.23) in the prelims. They are set to compete in the 100-meter hurdles final on Saturday at 2:50 p.m. John Carroll sophomore
Dakota Houston (Beachwood, OH/Beachwood) advanced to the final in the 100-meter dash after recording the fourth fastest time (11.73). Houston will compete in the final on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
Four NCAC runners earned spots in the men's 400-meter dash final on Saturday at 3:20 p.m. Wittenberg sophomore
Jack Kittle (Chagrin Falls, OH/Chagrin Falls) recorded the second-fastest time (46.75), while Wabash first-year
Brock DeBello (North Salem, IN/Tri West) and John Carroll graduate student
Tyler Gast (Olmsted Township, OH/Olmsted Falls) followed closely behind with the third-fastest (46.85) and fourth-fastest (46.94) times, respectively. Both DeBello and Gast set personal bests. John Carroll senior
Basheer Alramahi (Westlake, OH/Westlake) also advanced to the final after posting the sixth-fastest time (47.00).
Eight NCAC athletes recorded second-team All-American performances on Friday. Kenyon senior
Anna Brown (South Dartmouth, MA/Concord Academy) finished 14th (2:10.73) in the women’s 800-meter run prelims. The John Carroll 4x100-meter relay of Houston, senior
Rosie Murray (Chardon, OH/Hawken), senior
Paige Munchick (Medina, OH/Cloverleaf) and sophomore
Sandra King (Akron, OH/ Buchtel) placed 10th (46.97). Wittenberg sophomore
Cayla Eaton (North Lewisburg, OH/Triad) tied for 13th (1.64m) in the women’s high jump and Wabash senior
Quinn Sholar (Indianapolis, IN/Warren Central) finished 15th (16.36m) in the shot put. In the 400-meter dash, King collected her second certificate of the day, placing 10th with a personal best 55.55 and DePauw junior
Shelby Stall (Lindenhurst, IL/Lakes) finished 11th with 55.67.

Kennedy Elfers (Powell, OH/Olentangy Liberty) and Dortmund and first-year
Alaina Nathan (Houston, TX/Eisenhower) took 13th in the women’s 4x100-meter relay prelims (47.41), while Battling Bishop junior
Connor Smith (Marysville, OH/Marysville) competed in the men’s high jump but did not clear the opening height. Wittenberg first-year
Kory Davis (Brookville, OH/Brookville) qualified to compete in the 110-meter hurdles but did not finish.
The 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships will conclude Saturday, May 23, at Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
