GREENCASTLE, IN - Wabash claimed its league-leading 11th NCAC Championship at the 2025 NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. The Little Giants claimed 172.5 total points to win their fourth conference title in the last five years.
Denison captured runner-up honors with 137.5 points, followed by Wittenberg (130.5), DePauw (110), Ohio Wesleyan (83.5), Oberlin (69), Wooster (52), Kenyon (40) and Hiram (24).
2025 NCAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year Award Winners:
Men's Field: Evan Furuness, Wabash
Wabash junior
Evan Furuness (Brownsburg, IN/Brownsburg) garnered the 2025 NCAC Field Athlete of the Year award after earning two all-conference certificates. Furuness placed first in the shot put with a toss of 15.37 meters and earned third in the hammer with a heave of 49.43 meters. The junior also placed fourth in the discus with a mark of 42.06 meters.
Men's Sprint/Hurdles & Newcomer of the Year: Jack Kittle, Wittenberg

Jack Kittle (Chargin Falls, OH/Chargin Falls) earned the 2025 Men's Sprint/Hurdles Athlete and Newcomer of the Year honors after earning victories in the 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash, and the 4x400-meter relay. Kittle finished with times of 21.11 seconds, 47.45 seconds, and 3:18.47 seconds, respectively. In both the 200 and 400, the first-year broke the NCAC record with his efforts. He was also on the 4x100 meter relay squad that finished fifth with a time of 42.17.
Men's Distance/Middle Distance: Brayden Curnutt, Wabash
Wabash senior
Brayden Curnutt (Kokomo, IN/Western) was named the 2025 Distance/Middle Distance Athlete of the Year after sweeping the 5,000-meter and 10,000-meter runs. He posted winning times of 14:40.54 and 30:38.75, respectively, setting a new NCAC record in the 5,000 and a facility record in the 10,000.
Coaching Staff of the Year: Wabash
The Wabash coaching staff, led by
Clyde Morgan in his 17th season, guided the Little Giants to its fourth NCAC Championship in the last five years and league-leading 11th overall title. The Wabash staff, which includes Associate Head Coach
