Kenyon’s Oakes Collects Honorable Mention Nods to PING All-America Team 6/18/2025 1:00:00 PM | By: Haiden Diemer-McKinney, Wabash '26 Share: NORMAN, OK – Kenyon rising junior Jonathan Oakes (Dobbs Ferry, NY/US Performance Academy) was tabbed an honorable mention to the 2025 Division III PING All-America Team, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Wednesday, June 18. After earning NCAC Newcomer of the Year and third-team All-NCAC honors as a rookie, Oakes put together a strong sophomore campaign, highlighted by a first-team all-conference selection and the 2025 Dick Gordin Award (NCAC Player of the Year). At the NCAA Championships, Oakes led the Owls with 11 birdies over four rounds, finishing with a score of 294 (+6) to tie for 14th individually. His performance helped lead Kenyon to finish 13th as a team, the program’s second-highest placement at the NCAA Championships.
