15 Teams, 30 Student-Athletes Acquire USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

On Monday, July 20, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2025 NCAA Division III Track & Field Team and Athlete All-Academic Awards, with 30 student-athletes and 14 teams from the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) earning recognition for their academic excellence.
 
Seven men’s programs from the conference earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors, including Denison (3.21), DePauw (3.30), Kenyon (3.30), Oberlin (3.44), Ohio Wesleyan (3.11), Wabash (3.36), and Wooster (3.27). Seven women’s teams also earned USTFCCCA honors, including Denison (3.32), DePauw (3.61), Kenyon (3.62), Oberlin (3.61), Ohio Wesleyan (3.47), Wittenberg (3.46), and Wooster (3.60).
 
Programs are eligible for All-Academic Team honors by achieving a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale, including in the most recent academic term, along with meeting other qualifying standards set by the USTFCCCA.
 
Individually, a total of 30 NCAC student-athletes, 15 men and 15 women, were tabbed as USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes. DePauw’s men and Ohio Wesleyan’s women led the conference with five honorees each.
 
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and must have met at least one of the following athletic standards: Finished the indoor season among the top 50 individuals as listed on the descending order lists on TFRRS, participated at the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships, competed as a member of one of the top-35 relay teams as listed on the indoor descending order list on TFRRS, participated in the relay at the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships, or any competing relay team member on an expanded descending order list to include 35 institutions (1 relay team per institution) is eligible.
