Kenyon Captures NCAC Women’s Swimming & Diving Crown 2/14/2026 10:00:00 PM Share: GRANVILLE, OH -- The Kenyon women captured their third-consecutive and league-leading 30th overall crown, as competition wrapped up on Saturday night at the 2025 NCAC Swimming & Diving Championships at the Trumbull Aquatics Center on the campus of Denison University. The Owls tallied 1,944 points after recording 29 All-NCAC finishes and collecting 13 NCAC titles to win the conference crown. Denison finished second in the team standings with 1,853 points after winning eight events and logging 27 All-NCAC finishes. DePauw finished third with 1,377.5 points, followed by John Carroll (1,037), Wooster (991), Oberlin (681), Wittenberg (579.5) and Ohio Wesleyan (424). Kenyon senior Molly Haag (Middleton, WI/Middleton) was named the NCAC Women's Swimmer of the Year after winning three individual event titles and one relay, along with a runner-up relay finish. Haag along with first-year Deniz Guvenc (Istanbul, Turkey/Ozel Sezin), senior Lisa Torrecillas-Jouault (Le Mans, France/CENS), and sophomore Nora Lee Brown (St. Louis, MO/Kirkwood) started the meet with a second-place showing in the 800 freestyle relay with an NCAA “B” cut time of 7:23.14. Then on Thursday in the first women’s event of the night, Haag collected gold in the 500 free in an NCAA “B” cut time of 4:51.06 before collecting the NCAC title in the 200 free on Friday in 1:49.68, surpassing the NCAA “B” cut standard. Then on the final day of competition, the senior earned gold in the 1650 free in an NCAA “B” cut time of 16:40.29, while she and classmate Gwen Eisenbeis (Okemos, MI/Williamston), junior Kate Bogan (Irmo, SC/Dutch Fork) and senior Lisa Torrecillas-Jouault (Le Mans, France/CENS) claimed the 400 free relay title in an NCAA “B” cut time of 3:21.71 to end the meet. In the diving well, Denison senior Lu-Si Minnich (Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence Central) claimed the NCAC Women's Diver of the Year for the first time in her career after winning both the one-meter and three-meter events. On Thursday, Minnich took gold in the one-meter event with a regional-qualifying score of 421.30. Then on Saturday, the senior completed the sweep of the boards, collecting her third-consecutive three-meter title with a regional-qualifying score of 490.30 points. In addition, Denison first-year Hailey Kaminski (Northfield, OH/Nordonia) earned the 2026 NCAC Women's Newcomer of the Year honors after swimming the third leg of a winning relay, the second-leg of a runner-up relay and two fourth-place finishes. Kaminski and teammates junior Ollie Morse (Granville, OH/Columbus School for Girls), senior Phoebe Ferguson (Columbus, OH/Grandview Heights) and sophomore Caroline Ramirez (Cincinnati, OH/Country Day) topped the podium in the 400 free relay with an NCAA "B" cut time of 1:32.43. The rookie and Morse, Phoebe Ferguson (Columbus, OH/Grandview Heights) and Harris also claimed a runner-up finish in the 400 free relay in an NCAC “B” cut time of 3:23:21. Kaminski just missed the podium in both the 50 and 100 freestyles, posting fourth-place finishes in NCAA “B” cut times of 23.44 and 51.24, respectively. Finally, the DePauw and Kenyon coaching staffs collected the NCAC Women’s Swimming Coaching Staff of the Year and Women’s Diving Coaching Staff of the Year honors. DePauw head coach Tracy Menzel, in her sixth year with the Tigers, along with assistant coaches Alan Senn and Jennah Fadely earned the program its third-straight and fourth overall Women's Swimming Coaching Staff of the Year honor. The Tigers were led to a third-place finish in the 2025 NCAC championship and posted a program record 1,377.5 points at the meet. Over the four-days of conference competition, the Tigers logged 29 top-10 finishes and earned seven all-conference certificates with a runner-up finish in the 100 IM (58.52) and third-place showings in the1650 freestyle (17:07.66) and the 200-free (1:34.66), 400-free (3:28.82), 800-free (7:43.09), 200-medley (1:44.20) and 400-medley (3:54.14) relays. Kenyon head coach Jason Glorius claims his fourth overall women's Diving Coaching Staff of the Year award. This is his first honor leading the Owls, as he earned the award three times, 2010-11 and ‘13, while at the helm of the Denison diving squad. Kenyon divers placed second through sixth on both boards at the 2026 conference meet to collect 290 overall points for the Owls to help secure the program’s 30th NCAC title. Saturday’s event winners: 1650 Freestyle Kenyon senior Molly Haag (Middleton, WI/Middleton) started the night off winning the Owls’ their third-consecutive 1650 free title with an NCAA “B” cut time of 16:40.29. 100 Individual Medley Denison senior Phoebe Ferguson (Columbus, OH/Grandview Heights) earned the 100 individual medley title, the Big Red’s first title in the event since 2020, touching the wall in a time of 57.21. 200 Backstroke Kenyon senior Gwen Eisenbeis (Okemos, MI/Williamston) brought the 200 backstroke title back to Gambier after touching the wall in an NCAA “B” cut time of 1:59.91, the events only sub-two minute time. 100 Freestyle Kenyon senior Lisa Torrecillas-Jouault (Le Mans, France/CENS) paced the field in the 100 free in an NCAA “B” cut time of 50.46 to earn the NCAC crown in the event for the second time in her career (2024). 200 Breaststroke Kenyon sophomore Kelsey Van Eldik (Newcastle, Australia/Merewether) completed the sweep of the breaststroke events, winning the 200 title in an NCAA “B” cut time of 2:14.19. 200 Butterfly Denison senior Emily Harris (Nashville, TN/Ensworth) earned her third-straight NCAC title in the 200 butterfly in an NCAA “B” cut time of 2:01.81. 3-Meter Diving In the final individual event of Saturday night, Denison senior Lu-Si Minnich (Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence Central) completed the sweep of the boards this year, collecting her third-consecutive title in the three-meter event with a regional-qualifying score of 490.30 points. 400 Freestyle Relay To close out the 2026 championship, the Kenyon quartet of Haag, Eisenbeis, junior Kate Bogan (Irmo, SC/Dutch Fork) and Torrecillas-Jouault claimed the 400 free relay title in an NCAA “B” cut time of 3:21.71.
