CLEVELAND, OH - The NCAC Swimming & Diving Championships return to the Trumbull Aquatics Center on the campus of Denison University in Granville, Ohio, for the twelfth-consecutive year. The nation's top Division III conference meet begins on Wednesday, February 11, and runs through Saturday, February 14.
The Denison men and Kenyon women are defending champions. Overall, Kenyon has won 26 men's and 29 women's championships, respectively, of the 40 NCAC titles contested. The Denison men are the only team to defeat Kenyon at the NCAC meet, claiming titles in 1997, from 2009-2019, 2022, and 2025. The Denison women snapped the Owls' 19-year hold on the league crown in 2004, with Kenyon regaining control of the title from 2005-08, leading to Denison's run of seven straight from 2009-2015. The Kenyon women recaptured the championship in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2024, and 2025, while the Big Red women raised the trophy in 2017, 2020, and 2023. No championship was conducted in 2021.
Founded in 1983, the North Coast Athletic Conference consists of nine academically selective colleges and universities - Denison University, DePauw University, John Carroll University, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Wabash College, Wittenberg University, and the College of Wooster, along with affiliate members Allegheny College, Earlham College, Transylvania University and Washington & Jefferson College. The NCAC sponsors 23 championship sports, 11 for men and 12 for women.

Sophomore Yoo Soomin (Incheon, South Korea/Chadwick International School) leads Oberlin with 529.65 performance points and ranked swims in the 200 (2:31.33; 17th) and 100 (1:08.67; 19th) breaststroke events, along with a listed 100 individual medley (1:04.30; 32nd). With Soomin leading the breaststroke group and additional freestyle scoring potential, Oberlin can build momentum from session to session.

Experience: The Tigers finished in sixth at last year’s NCAC championships with a youth-leaning roster gaining experience. Continuing to represent a youth movement, Wittenberg will use its experience to guide a growth-focused team.
Strengths & Depth: Wittenberg enters the meet with its strongest opportunities centered in breaststroke and individual medleys. Senior Shania Stone (Cincinnati, OH/Princeton) leads the Tigers with 617.95 performance points and ranked swims in the 50 freestyle (23.78; 10th), 100 breast (1:05.88; 10th) and 100 IM (1:01.56; 14th). Wittenberg is represented across all relays and has a top-five relay ranking in the 400 medley (4:03.57). With Stone setting the pace and support across multiple event groups, the Tigers have clear lanes to score through its breast core and key sprint events.

Strengths & Depth: Ohio Wesleyan enters the meet with its clearest scoring lanes in the backstroke events, supported by contributions in freestyle and individual medleys. Junior MacKenzie Carter (Delaware, OH/Hayes (Toledo)) leads the Battling Bishops with 544.95 performance points and ranked swims of No. 19 in the 100 back (59.11), No. 24 in the 200 back (2:12.55) and No. 29 in the 50 free (24.72). With a backstroke foundation and additional sprint support, OWU is positioned to look for points in its core individual events across the meet.

Experience: The Blue Streaks enter the conference meet as a dark-horse contender with potential for strong scoring. In its first NCAC season, John Carroll combines experienced returners with underclass depth.
Strengths & Depth: John Carroll enters the meet with strong all-around swimming depth, led by the freestyle and breaststroke groups, with butterfly and backstroke also providing scoring volume. Senior Mairin Dalziel (Royal Oak, MI/Royal Oak) anchors the Blue Streaks with 618.45 performance points and ranked swims across multiple freestyle distances, including the 100 (52.33; 14th) and 50 (24.24; 18th) to go along with a ranking in the 200 individual medley (2:12.82; 20th). John Carroll will also be a podium contender in the relays, owning the fourth best time in all five relay events. With depth across multiple event groups and relays that can swing team scoring, JCU has several clear ways to build its total through the week.
