HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL – Kenyon shot a 291 (+7) and John Carroll posted a 296 (+12) in the second round of the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship at Mission Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. Combined with an opening 286 (-2), the Owls sit in seventh at 577 (+5). The Blue Streaks, who opened with a 295 (+7), are in 16th with a two-round score of 591 (+19). Both teams made the cut to advance to the third round.
The national championship is being held on two courses at the Mission Resort & Club, the par-72, 6,748-yard El Campeón and the par-71, 6,792-yard Las Colinas. Both NCAC teams played round two at Las Colinas, while Wittenberg's
Mikey Schutte (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) wrapped his first round at Las Colinas after a day-one weather delay before moving to El Campeón for his second.
Illinois Wesleyan leads after posting a 36-hole score of 567 (-5). Washington and Lee follows in second at 570 (-2), with Carnegie Mellon and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps tied for third at 571 (-1) and Methodist fifth at 575 (+3).
Kenyon's
Adrian Jordan (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrenceville School) continues to lead the Owls and all NCAC participants, tied for second individually at 138 (67-71) after carding an even-par 71 in the second round.
Rafael Frias IV (Parkland, FL/American Heritage School) sits at 145 (72-73), tied for 32nd, while
Jaiden Koonar (Alberta, Canada/Webber Academy) holds a 146 (73-73), tied for 41st.
Connor Gray (Winnetka, IL/New Trier) posted a 148 (74-74), tied for 61st, and
Jonathan Oakes (Dobbs Ferry, NY/US Performance Academy) recorded a 151 (76-75), tied for 103rd.
John Carroll is led by
Daniel Donahue (Pittsburgh, PA/Central Catholic) after shooting a 73 (+2) in the second round for a 146 (73-73), tied for 41st.
Wade Boyle (Greensburg, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic) sits at 148 (74-74), tied for 61st, while
Justy VonLehmden (Findlay, OH/Saint John's Jesuit) holds a 149 (72-77), tied for 74th.
Austin Malley (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) posted a 150 (76-74), tied for 88th, and
London Hoyser (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Mendon) recorded a 154 (79-75), tied for 132nd.
Schutte, competing as an individual qualifier, finished round one with a score of 74 (+3) after play was halted due to weather. He shot a 76 (+4) in round two for a two-round total of 150 (+7), finishing tied for 88th. Schutte missed the cut and did not advance to the third round.
Tee times for the start of round three are yet to be announced.
The team and individual champions will be determined after 72 holes of play or the conclusion of the last fully completed round. After 36 holes of competition, the field was cut to the top 18 teams and top six individuals not on one of those teams. In the team competition, the low four scores from each team for each day will count in the team's total score.
