The 2026 D3baseball.com and ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America teams were announced, with nine NCAC student-athletes from Denison and Wittenberg earning national recognition.
Conference honorees included Denison junior
Jack Lutte (Venetia, PA/Peters Township), seniors
Will Rettig (Perrysburg, OH/Perrysburg),
Erik Sundgren (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) and
Robbie Lee (Washington, DC/Landon School), and first-years
Devin Parker (Lewis Center, OH/Olentangy) and
Andrew Montero (Upper Arlington, OH/Upper Arlington), along with Wittenberg seniors
Tommy Chilicki (Lewis Center, OH/Olentangy) and
Alex Nemunaitis (Perrysburg, OH/Ottawa Hills) and junior
Xander Rodriguez (Salinas, PR/Franklin County). In addition, Denison head coach
Mike Deegan was named D3baseball.com and ABCA National Coach of the Year after guiding the Big Red to the program's first NCAA Division III national championship.
Chilicki was the NCAC's lone representative on the D3baseball.com First Team, becoming the first Tiger in program history to earn D3baseball.com First-Team All-America honors. He also garnered Fourth-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-America recognition after ranking seventh in NCAA Division III with 81 hits. Chilicki, a first-team All-NCAC selection, finished the season batting .429 with 52 runs scored, three triples, four home runs, and 60 RBI.
Lutte earned Second-Team All-America honors from both D3baseball.com and ABCA/Rawlings. The 2026 NCAC Player of the Year, first-team All-NCAC selection, ABCA/Rawlings Region Co-Player of the Year and the D3baseball.com Player of the Year batted .436 with 13 home runs and 18 doubles while making 48 starts between left field, first base, and designated hitter.
Rettig collected Third-Team D3baseball.com and Fourth-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors. The 2026 NCAC Pitcher of the Year and a first-team All-NCAC selection earned his second career All-America recognition after previously receiving Fifth-Team honors in 2024. Rettig made 17 appearances, posted a 12-2 record with a 2.54 ERA, and became Denison's all-time strikeout leader with 268 career strikeouts.
Sundgren earned D3baseball.com All-America recognition for the second-consecutive season, as he was named to the 2026 Third Team after receiving Tirst-Team honors in 2025. A first-team All-NCAC outfielder, he hit .373 with 22 doubles, three triples, 11 home runs, 74 runs scored, 64 RBI, and 32 stolen bases.
Nemunaitis earned Fourth-Team D3baseball.com and Second-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors at third base. As a first-team All-NCAC selection, he set program records with 82 hits and 132 total bases while ranking sixth nationally in hits. He also led the Tigers with a .451 batting average and 64 runs scored while adding 15 doubles, one triple, 11 home runs, and 56 RBI.
Rodriguez received Fourth-Team D3baseball.com and Third-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-America recognition at first base. The first-team All-NCAC honoree established program single-season records with 15 home runs and 73 RBI, the latter ranking sixth in NCAA Division III. Rodriguez also moved into second place in program history with 160 career RBI while batting .382 with 66 hits and 18 doubles.
Lee was named a Fourth-Team D3baseball.com All-American as a starting pitcher. A first-team All-NCAC selection, Lee went 8-0 with 85 strikeouts in 74.1 innings while making 16 appearances, including 14 starts in 2026.
Parker earned Fourth-Team D3baseball.com All-America honors as a relief pitcher. Parker recorded a 2.61 ERA with six saves across 20 appearances during his rookie campaign.
Montero rounded out the conference's honorees with Fifth-Team D3baseball.com All-America recognition as a starting pitcher. The 2026 NCAC Newcomer of the Year and a first-team All-NCAC selection posted a 5-0 record over nine starts while setting the Denison single-game strikeout record with 16 against Ohio Wesleyan. He finished the season with 77 strikeouts and a 2.60 ERA.
Deegan capped off the conference's national honors by being selected as the D3baseball.com and ABCA National Coach of the Year. In his 14th season at the helm, he guided Denison to a 51-3 record, the program's first NCAA Division III national championship, and the most wins in school history.
