Denison senior defensive back Collin Murphy (Sudbury, MA/Lincoln-Sudbury Regional) was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week, announced Tuesday, October 1.

Murphy hauled in two interceptions, blocked a field goal and added three tackles in the Big Red's 35-0 shutout of Hiram. The senior returned a second quarter interception 62 yards for a touchdown. He later intercepted a third quarter pass in the end zone on a fourth down play to help Denison defense post its second consecutive shutout.

This is the 26th season that D3football.com has selected the Team of the Week, which honors the top player nationally at each position from the previous week. This marks the second week that the NCAC has received selections.
