Buddy Gomez (Indianapolis, IN/Cathedral) was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week, announced Tuesday, November 18.
In the 131st Monon Bell rivalry game, Gomez matched the program’s single-game punting average record (minimum five punts), finishing with a 49.8-yard average on five punts in the 41-20 win over Wabash.
This is the 27th season that D3football.com has selected the Team of the Week, which honors the top player nationally at each position from the previous week. This marks the fifth week that the NCAC has received selections.
